You will learn about consumer behaviour and how fashion ranges are researched, planned, sourced and developed. You will also study visual merchandising , purchasing and supply chain management, ethical issues and sustainability, and sales analysis. You are also likely to study a module that gives you an overview of fashion textiles and garment development . This module introduces students to key concepts, literature and debates to investigate relationships between the topics and issues encompassed within the Sustainable Development Goals. All class based teaching takes places between 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Wednesday afternoons are kept free from timetabled teaching for personal study time and for sports clubs and societies to train, meet and play matches. There may be some occasional learning opportunities that take places outside of these hours for which you will be given forewarning.
